 We are looking for: 

The successful candidate will provide leadership by being visible and positive and ensure decision-making processes are appropriate by:

  • ensuring staff are involved appropriately in decision-making
  • keeping staff informed of relevant issues within Council
  • ensuring staff receive feedback regarding their performance 

This diverse role will assist in promoting, maintaining and enforcing regulatory standards within the Local Government area whilst managing the public health, and community enforcement services and projects.

The role also monitors and ensures compliance with development consents, investigating illegal development activities and other breaches of Legislation under Local Government control.

 We offer:

  • An attractive TRP from $129,979 to $154,177 (dependent on skills and experience) including superannuation and private use of a leaseback vehicle is on offer.

Location:

This position is based in Mullumbimby, however Council can require you to work from other work sites as required for operational reasons.

  • Reference Checks: Referees will preferably be your current or most recent supervisor and must be able to comment directly on your abilities in a work situation.
