We are looking for:

Byron Shire Council is currently seeking a Leasing Coordinator. This role is a great opportunity to provide advice to Council staff who look after assets and coordinate and ensure sound governance and management of Council’s lease and licence activities.

About you: 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications such as Law or Business (or substantial progression towards completion) or transferable equivalent experience. 
  • Demonstrated experience preparing and administering leasing and licensing agreements.
  • Highly developed critical thinking and problem solving skills and good attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation or demonstrated ability to rapidly acquire such knowledge. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary issues relevant to leasing and licensing.
  • Highly developed organisational skills, with the proven ability to manage multiple projects and respond to changing priorities.
  • Highly developed oral and written communications skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas succinctly.
  • Advanced emotional intelligence and ability to work well with others.

We offer:

  • Salary and Conditions will be in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award with an appointment at a salary in the range of $1,568.10 to $1,816.88 per 35 hour week (dependent upon skills and experience)

Location:

This position is based at Mullumbimby, however Council can require you to work from other work sites as required for operational reasons.
